Acceptance. Yours,
mine, theirs. You may be into any number of female (or male)
body areas. The foot-lover is into feet. If people aren't
coming up to a rear-end lover and saying, "Ewww, that's
gross, asses are poopie portals!", then why do so
many people knock the foot-lover? I think it's because they
are uninformed. They feel foot-lovers are are sexual
deviants who lock women up and force unthinkable acts of
perversion on them. When's the last time YOU turned down a
foot rub?
While searching the web
I have been made aware of the multitudes of people who are strongly
attracted to feet. It is said that 1% of the world's population has a foot
fetish. It is also said that most fetish holders are male.
Aretifism, a sexual attraction to
people who are without footwear, is a synonym to podophilia,
although the connotation is slightly different (attraction to the
unclad foot vs. attraction to the foot itself). An informal study
was conducted in 2001 to determine the prevalence of certain
fetishes. More than 72,000 Adult-oriented Yahoo! Clubs
(now Yahoo! Groups) were identified, of which 741 were found to
be foot-related. By assuming that the people who used Yahoo! Clubs
represented a balanced cross-section of the world's sexual
preferences, it was estimated that 1.14% of people had foot
fetishes. Read more at

Considering that there are many
related foot fetishes, such as socks, shoes, jewelry, crushing,
trampling, worshipping, bondage, torture, tickling, and more this
site is a work in progess.
Those that
applaud and those that strongly oppose.
It
has been stated that Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
But, I'm not sure that is entirely correct. Maybe it's more like
this: Opinions are like necks, everyone has one because
hey, everyone really DOES have a neck.
Here is where I'd like to share a few thoughts regarding the
varied opinions regarding foot fetishes. While some find feet
totally appalling, gross, disgusting and repulsive others are so
moved, driven and spell-bound by them that they become a hidden
obsession. Hidden because those with foot fetishes are teased
relentlessly. As if feet were a joke or something, footlovers
are made into buffoons, and footlover recipients are looked on as
if they were mental rejects. Many sex discussion forums begin
with the question: "I like feet, is that weird?" And many
replies go like this: "Ick, feet are gross, but whatever turns
you on." It's no wonder foot fetishists are likely to keep their
desires to themselves.
One Example.
If a person were to look at all the
different fetish categories one would realize feet are probably
the easiest to find gratification. Bare feet, shoes, legs, these
are so readily viewable, publicly exposed and perfect for candid
voyeurism. The emphasis is on candid. My own experience
shows me men are more likely to have this type of fetish, and
that they don't necessarily like to discuss it with others.
Take a look at the
Urban Dictionary and you'll find 16 definitions of Foot Fetish
given by those who understand it at it's most basic level.
Take a look at
one blog and you'll find one example among millions of what
I'll term podo-phobes those people who are, well, either
afraid of feet or so closed-minded to others sexual preferences
that feet are just one more in a list of many taboo items.
MySpace.com has a sprinkling of groups devoted to footlovers and
opposed. Those in favor outweigh those opposed by about 5 to 1.
Google has oodles of search results. Where do you think I got
all my data from?
There have been a variety of proposed explanations for the
development of a foot fetish. Some suggest that the link between
feet and sexual arousal is a direct result of the feet sharing
the same sensory cortex as the genitals.
Another theory suggests that the foot’s shape is distinctly
phallic, and can be viewed to replicate the female or male
genitals, or the shape of a female body. A third theory notes
that the feet and the genitals are in the same visual window,
and when looking at one, the other will be in view as well.
There are woman who enjoy feet as
much as men. There are women who enjoy performing footsex, and
there are those who are brought to orgasm by the stroking,
massaging, and sucking of their toes. Granted, it's a rare
occurrence, not many women have this ability. When you take into
consideration the number of woman who cannot experience a
vaginal or clitoral orgasm, this is incredible! If you are one
of the men looking for your special foot fetish counterpart you
may have many obstacles to overcome such as long distances and
opposing marital status. Guys, don't despair, there is at least
one sexual position for the men who
have a foot fetish, and their partners who do not.
There are women who find the
woman's (or man's) foot to be sexually arousing. They enjoy foot
worship, giving pedicures, massages and penetrative footsex.
Oftentimes a woman who is receiving footsex will also perform
self-masturbation to achieve orgasm. One Hot Story
here.
Hollywood is very good at
subliminally adding erotic foot images and video into their
productions. Some producers and directors aren't afraid of
hiding blatant foot fetish scenes. Then
there's always that type of bait-and-switch they like to pull
where the actresses are writhing and moaning with pleasure and
you come to find out hey, it's not sex, it's a footrub! It may
not be sex to those without a fetish for feet, but those
in-the-know are aware of what's going down... or up, as it were.
There is an ongoing list of films that feature clips of feet;
bare, stockinged or otherwise. See it
here. It is long, but is no where near complete.
Madonna, Quenton Tarantino, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer
Lopez, Cecil B. DeMille, Jerry Lewis, Dosteyovski, Pushkin,
Britney Spears, Gene Simmons, Rachel Welsh, Avril Lavigne, Al
Gore, Angelina Jolie, Shaq, Tommy Lee.

"What makes
a foot lover a foot fetishist? Both the intensity and
exclusivity of the desire. If you'd rather have sex with your
lover's feet than any other body parts, or if you must focus on
feet to reach orgasm, or if you'd usually rather screw a shoe
than a person, you're a foot fetishist. The technical term is "podophiliac."
If you are turned on by attractive feet or sexy shoes, but your
sexuality doesn't completely revolve around them, you're more
what I'd call a foot lover, a foot appreciator, or maybe you're
just playing footsie. You don't have to be a certifiable foot
fetishist to appreciate feet, or to enjoy having your feet
appreciated. "
Dr. Marty Klein, of
www.sexed.org states: "I'd
only call it a "fetish" if you *can't* enjoy sex without
foot-worship." He goes on to say, "On the other hand, it
also seems clear that people often acquire tastes for things
serendipitously--experimenting with something seen in a film,
getting turned on to something new by a trusted lover, etc.
Unless your sexual preference for feet becomes a problem, let go
of the search for a "cause" and just enjoy it."source
They are there, underground, all
around the country. Foot fetish parties in which clients and
their objects of affection link up and get a foot-hold on each
other. Google will most likely not turn up many links, these are
events in which you really have to be in-the-know to find.
Groups on the internet are a good start. Myspace and Yahoo, MSN,
AOL. They are there if you care to take the time to find them.
Aaron Thompson, a journalist for
UNLV's Rebel Yell, wrote an exposé on a
foot fetish party he himself attended. He goes on to write:
"In a
common foot session, the gentleman who initiates contact can
choose what he would like to do with the woman’s feet to
ensure that she agrees. Since there is absolutely no sexual
contact allowed, the woman must remain clothed at all
times—with exception to her feet, of course.
A common session, according to the girls, involves a number
of actions. The man can rub the woman’s feet, massage them,
tickle them, smell them, suck, kiss or lick them and in rare
cases, let the girl “trample” the male by standing on his
chest and walking around or jumping on him."
His article is
unbiased, given the fact that he is not a foot fetishist himself
and he tries to maintain an objective point of view. Read his
